What was the H thinking, that he was going to be gifted with a mansion for leaving another man's wife alone? No surprise to me that this "mansion" turned out to be a house with broken windows, etc.

Feel like skimming through to the end of the book. Characters are not developing enough for me to get to know them. The ride on the mail coach might be the end of the book for me.
