Intrigue and suspense.
Cliffhanger ending.
This has so many thing in thos world building I hope it evens out in the next book. I just want to gettvto the end and know and hope my gut is right and she will do what is not what all those kings/sultans has "written" as her fate and future.

Was such a slow start. I kept wanting to skip ahead. But okay now we finally got to whys and hows it moving. Only now I'm getting. Fed up with the young adult of it all ni just want to slap tjibsgirl and say wake up to your new reality!
