i think the introduction is gonna be the best part. the translator effectively, and this is the correct scientific jargon, ROASTS the SHIT out of durkheim and mauss's method and (numerous) mistakes over the course of their essay. nothing convinces me more that something is worth reading when the editor TEARS IT TO SHREDS but STILL decides it's a worthwhile endeavour to translate and publish!
