Nice to think of yourself being superior just by the study of archeology and mythology. Myself, I think you need more connections in between everything. Connections to reality is a must. A grain of salt. Proof of the pudding.

Explorers, but what about all the little things like all those exotic insects that just make us so uncomfortable? Probably nobody knows anything about them either. All the strange plants and animals in an area unknown are intriguing too. You should study everything and get better cameras.

Cats and cats, I can't imagine seeing millions of mummified cats. I read somewhere they even had mummified rodents. (For the cats, to keep them happy in the afterlife.)

The Holy Grail, an idea of great goodness and everlasting Godliness. Something sorely needed. Something you often could have to lay done your very life for.

Wisdom in darkness or maybe of the darkness? Who could ever be sure, everything is so changing and even different from one individual to another.

I wonder about this precession of the planet too. Everybody seems to be afraid of that great pole shift in earth magnetism. Mayans thought about these?
