So far in the book I've seen one main theme, over coming difficulty. Over coming difficulty is a very common theme that is seen almost anywhere in TV shows, movies, and books. My main characters, Helena and Max, need to over come that it's okay to fall in love even if it means they risk everything they have. Helena doesn't want to lose her career to someone and Max can't handle another heart break.

I don't connect with this book like I have a similar experience to what they are going through, but I continue to read the book. I continue to read the book because I like the way the author writes and how she keeps the character's life a mystery until the end and you get that"ah ha" moment when it all makes sense. Another reason why I keep reading this book is because I'm always excited to know what happens next.
