I read this book ~25yrs ago so I can’t even remember much of it. Is it terrible?

It’s not terrible, just very dated and quite conservative.. although seems like he’s on his own journey into mysticism but not quite there, which is great, but he speaks with real authority which seems contradictory … I’m surprised people still give it 5 stars.

yeah right. i've been flirting with the idea of re-reading it, but i might leave it on the shelf and read some rohr or merton instead
