Thank God for audiobooks!!! Hopefully I’ll finish this book by tomorrow or Thursday.

Still slowly making my way through this one….

I’m starting to agree with Snape and Hermione. Harry really does just gives no fucks about the rules. First the flying incident, then the after curfew duel, and also the troll!!! It takes a special type of person to be a teacher. Harry is wild. No wonder I loved this book as a child.

It’s amazing how similar the movie and the book are in comparison to later HP books. Reading this book is like watching the movie in my mind. I love it!

Jeez, I completely forgot how tiresome Hermione was in the first book. It’s like no one taught her social niceties or how to be polite - which is funny because she gets on the boys about manners constantly. I can actually say the same about Draco as well.

I’m amazed by how many aspects of this book that I had forgotten or confused with the movies. Completely forgot that Hagrid explains to Harry what happened to his parents while they are still with the Dursley’s. Also, Hagrid’s mysterious explosion. I couldn’t help but wonder if the author was planning a 2nd book while writing the first. To drop such a breadcrumb! I’m going to have to do some research.
