Movement is attractive. That is, moving around attracts attention.
This is why static public speakers, lecturing teachers, and work meetings aren't nearly as captivating as Bible-thumping preachers, or even Hitler with his large, bombastic gestures. It doesn't matter much what they say...you'll simply be captivated by the movement. (Tip for if you're feeling overlooked: move!)

For humans, the eyes are the most important info gathering source. Followed by the skin, the ears, the mouth and the nose.
This is why many people feel nervous when talking to someone wearing sunglasses -- we can't see their eyes so we can't see what info they are gathering about us or the environment. The person becomes a potential threat. Even if we know them.
