I can't stand the 'I'm not good enough for you and that's why we can't be together' trope. It's lazy and repetitive

The main issue with the story is that it has no plot. It is just a succession of events with no real conflict to keep to interested

You get kidnapped, drugged up, sold in an auction, and you wake up and offer yourself to be the mistress of the buyer.
You would be scared shitless not aroused 🤷🏻‍♀️

Entiendo que la autora tenga que poner un poco de contexto a la relación de los protagonistas pre-subasta pero no hace falta recapitular tanto. Llevo ya unas 50 páginas y todavía no hemos llegado al final del libro anterior

I really like Sandas's narrative style... But I don't thing the insta-love romance is for me. I just can't connect with the characters that way. Other than that, I look forward to Lily's story

A virgin hero... It's been a while since I read one of those
