While it had some interesting storylines and some good sf ideas, I somehow found it to be slightly less than the sum of its parts. I'll probably continue the series but probably not quite yet.

Ah, deadline day. I'll be able to resume reading tomorrow, yay! We still have 50 returns in the office lol. (We're definitely not finishing before the midnight Central deadline of our tax software.)

Oh, hey, a space opera/mil-sf that none of my gr friends has read. While I'm reading this on kindle, it's still part of my shelf-clearing project since I have the second and third in paperback and assume they'll reach the donate pile once through. Starting another series with so many series yet unfinished - living that distracted-boyfriend-meme life.
