At some point, being alone really is the safer choice. But when Jason said things like this, it brought all kinds of crap to the forefront, ninety percent of which I’d rather ignore. The remaining ten percent left me with urges— strong ones— to fall into his arms, and let him hold me, like he had in Turkey. To trust him— with my feelings for him, and my fear of being in way over my head with this whole War On Satan.
