I think I cracked the code.
If you are more of a dog person, this book (and Elliot’s story) is not your cup of tea but you enjoyed Emery. But if you are a cat person, you kinda liked it.

Yeah the beginning is messed up but Cora’s books are always a little bit more on the morally grey side.
