Now that I think about it I wonder if the stuff that’s happening for no reason is meant to represent how stuff like this in real life happens all the time for no reason and how ridiculous life is. Still annoying tho. But also if that is the author’s purpose in writing this, it is satisfying to see someone else discuss it.

Honestly this book is sitting at a 1 star for me.

Okay, I’m one to be able to suspend my disbelief in books usually, but the adults in this town are targeting these kids for no reason. And that effing science teacher again. What is his problem? Never thought I’d say this, but I wish some stuff with the clown was actually happening…

Okay, so Quinn had one cool moment. But I hate how political this book is getting like I’m a quarter of the way through and nothing has even happened with clowns or anything. If I wanted politics I’d just watch the news. Also, I couldn’t tell you one thing about Quinn she doesn’t have much of a personality.

Also the dad talking about how cheap everything is all throughout the book is equally as gross. It’s not cheap so much as you’re rich.

Lol girlfriend wants to APOLOGIZE. For what exactly? The teacher is just going to go on some other misplaced tantrum if she does. She seems very naive and like the people-pleaser type to go around not having her own opinions or questioning anything. But part of it seems like a facade too because she does recognize it. Hopefully her character develops (a lot)

This teacher is absolutely disgusting, but an accurate reflection of how people have been acting these days. Literally mean for no reason whatsoever

Getting 3 star vibes from this but I’m definitely intrigued. Although the MC is one of those “choose happiness” people who annoy me. Otherwise I like her.
