I'm really digging the slow burn of tying all the characters together in an orderly fashion. It's amazing how much nonfiction content was studied and used to building the storyline in plot of this book. It's been a really long time since I have been interested by a fiction writing. I've certainly branched out and read some odd pieces these past year or two, but this one by far has the sharpest and deepest hooks!

This book is so good. And I truly believe and hope someone picks up this book and brings it's actions to real life some day.. long time coming to the f3 ds. Henry Bowman is my hero....

Henry Bowman lifted the barrels out of their felt-lined compartment, swung the forend lever to the side, and removed the forend. He examined the bores. They were mint, as promised. And huge. He stuck his thumb in the muzzle of one the right barrel. It didn't even touch both sides. They're so big I could almost...well, not quite Henry thought.

The intro and foreward have caught my attention more than most books I've read. This one might be a wonderful journey!
