WOW I’m struggling… I almost want to stop reading this is sooooooo sloowww and drawn out and it’s trying to be too angsty it’s making me lose interest. This book could be half the size and have the same point …… its just annoying me

I am really liking this despite the excruciatingly drawn out plot (only picks up at 50%). It’s also making me insanely envious how much one damaged person is ‘picked up’ and loved so much by another family unconditionally. Literally a dream for any abused kid/person
I am also getting twilight/ fifty shades vibes in terms of ‘gets adopted my big, rich supportive and loving family’ 😮‍💨🫡
