A particularly heavy book for a parent to read. It took me a while to pick it back up. While the romance is a little forced, the story is interesting over all. The villain warning the MC (hero) to stay out of it was a but overly tropey, especially since she was wavering in her belief. I'm hoping I'll actually finish it this week.

Actually read to 29 percent a while ago but was offline. I might drop because I'm not enjoying read about bad things happening to kids... seems well presented though.

Well that's one way to ruin a date... and possibly my night as well... that's horrible! (But well presented and written) Now I need to read something happy...

Seems very promising so far. I appreciate the warning about Australian English.
