Strange stuff.
It is easy to understand why the gnostics were condemned as heretics, but somewhat more difficult to glean any real wisdom from these stories.
The gnostic creation myths and relationships among their pantheon of gods make for interesting reads, but a lot of the poetics were boring for me.
It makes sense to skip around or skim with this collection.
