This book jumped off the shelf at me during a difficult time in my life. The subtitle, "Growing up Imperfect in a 'Perfect' Family" describes my life well. This is a thoughtful though at times searing look at Seventh-day Adventists and our at times problematic relationship to addiction, trauma, and healing.
