I'm not like consuming his words like a rabid pony or anything, but I appreciate his peculiar interest in details. The short stories are just long enough to satisfy my ADD whilst I familiarize myself with his style. But... What I would like to share is Rushdie's great at picking out short stories and I fully recommend American Short Stories (2008). Rushdie acted as editor and the stories in that book rock my socks... I'm done running my nerdy mouth now
