The most uplifting part is when everyone realized that Connor saved everyone. Connor blew up the chop shop at the unwind camp and it saved every kid who was going to be unwound. Once everyone realized this it was a moment of relief and a surge of hope and empowerment. "Connor blew up the chop shop!" pg 311 This proves it was an uplifting and empowering moment for the kids in the book and the reader.

One dumbfounding part was when the cops revealed the truth about the AWOL Unwind group.In a questioning room, a few cops revealed that they were completely aware of the hundreds of AWOL Unwinds and that they choose not to round them up. This is because the refugee camp makes the cops jobs easier "He doesn't know it, but he's doing us a favor. No more rats." - Page 261 This was a plot twist and it left me dumbfounded.

One shocking part was when Lev had a standoff with the cops. Lev wanted to be promised that his acquaintance wouldn't be unwound, so he made threats with a shovel and had a stand off with the police with guns pointed at him. "TELL HIM YOU WON'T UNWIND HIM!" (Page 192) This shows how chaotic and intense of a situation this was and it just overall shocked me.

One trait to describe Conor is self-Reflectent. Although it seems Connor does not like to be wrong, he often looks back on the situation to reflect on his beliefs. "As much as Connor hates to admit it, Risa has been right about a lot of things. Her clarity of thought has saved them more than once."(147) This proves/shows that although Connor may not like to be wrong, he does at least admit it to himself later on.

My favorite part was when Risa conned her way into getting supplies.
Risa, Connor and Lev were in need of supplies, so Risa knocked on someone's door and said that she needed supplies for a school competition. "Three minutes later, Risa walks away from the house with a bag full of clothes and canned food."(55) This was my favorite part because I love scheming and conning my way into getting things from my parents.

One shocking part moment was when Lev accidentally stepped in front of a dart. Connor was getting darts shot at him and one was on the path of being a hit. Once the dart was shot Lev accidentally stepped in front of the dart which saved Connor." The moment the bullet is fired, the boy in white takes a step back, and he's hit in the shoulder." (pg38) This proves this was unintended by Lev and that's why it shocked me.
