I just think Skylar destroyed the Nothus, but nothing is certain in this story! And after fighting the Nothus, the Sentinel appears to be dying. Or not. One thing I have learned from this book is that nothing is for certain and everything is subject to change.

This author has a severely disturbing imagination, not unlike S. King in his early books. But disturbing in an extremely twisted, scene stealing and macabre manner that keeps this reader wanting more. The first book, "Sentinel," was good. This read takes the story up two notches!

A bit confusing, a lot terrifying!

The Sentinel, appearing nightly, does its best the keep the Nothus confined to its underground lair and taking more young boys to transform into beings such as itself.

Strange, stranger, strangest. Best description of this book so far. I will warn would-be readers of this book that you MUST read its predecessor, The Sentinel, for book #1 has many tie-ins with this sequel. Without having read The Sentinel, this book will confuse the crap out of you!
