never seen somebody do with prose what, e.g., The Fall and The Wizard of Oz did with double-casting and re-use of props (and what Calvin and Hobbes does with panel-to-panel cuts and repeated images for e.g. Spaceman Spiff, lol). so so so so glad this trick can work without visuals, dying to see more of it in more books
