Halfway there it’s so great. Heard great reviews going into the book and couldn’t wait to get my hands on a copy and it completely blew the ratings out the water, phenomenal book. Interested to see the first hand reactions when Igor abandons Slavyansk for Donetsk. Although the book is based on Slavyansk I hope we see the humanitarian corridor massacre of Ilovaisk in Aug 2014.

My adhd is killing me with jumping from book to book but I’m enjoying this one and think I’ll stick with it long term. Slavyansk was a major turning point in the war right before the battle for the Donetsk airport that solidified DPR’s Legitimacy. This book gives a god first hand account into the build up and what followed.
