“Whatever our beliefs, these young people’s lives matter. Mocking or dismissing those struggling with their gender identity is never the right approach. But encouraging emotionally vulnerable young girls to undergo medical treatments that will distort their still-developing bodies and affect their still-developing minds is also not an act of love.”

Many solid hits and numerous misses in the first chapter. At times, instead of laying out points which were quite obvious on their own the writer pulls scripture references that aren’t speaking about the subject at hand. What seems to be much more eisegesis than exegesis of the texts. The point that black lives matter is undeniable and critical, but glossing over the severe issues with the organization is careless.
