3 more days....till my life changes dramatically for the better. Mount TBR, all 2500-3000 lbs, has been packed and stored while waiting to be moved cross-country to Vancouver Island where my Mom awaits my arrival with plenty of yardwork to do while I find another career opportunity. It's been an arduous week packing away all those treasures but it will be a joy to rediscover and share them with my mom. Soon!!!!

The 4 weeks I had on vacation earlier in August with my Mom showed me that life could be so much better in so many ways that I had to seize the opportunity and make a change.

I'm so glad the weather has cooperated so far as early October was pretty miserable. Looks like I'll be able to dodge winter just in time.
Attended my first live event at McNally Robison in over two years and had the chance to meet Ann-Marie MacDonald for a reading and signing for her new book "Fayne".
She put on a marvelous performance and I will miss that type of opportunity on the Island. It's tough saying goodbye to my favorite bookstores and their wonderful staff.
You'll do well, Mike. Keep on rediscovering, and good luck!
