"Her hair was still black as ink, kinked and curled as a politician's promises." The prose is downright lyrical. The author's writing style is wonderfully unexpected. I can't wait to see what happens. I broke from the book to read some of it to my husband and look in my books to see if I'd read anything by this author before. I haven't.
