How about K. Aten's The Arrow of Artemis series about the Amazons?!? I love that series and wish I had the time to read it for the third time. The first book, The Fletcher, is a little slower then the others since it has to set the table, but by book two the romance really heats up, and the action, and I don't know anyone who has read this whole sapphic trilogy who didn't think it was at least really great if not loved it more than I did:)
