I'm enjoying Sheridan Lefanu's short story, Sir Dominick's Bargain. I like Sheridan Lefanu generally - but I'm going to save this one for later.

A maybe unpopular opinion but I've never been able to finish a book by Isaac Asimov (his short story is next). While reading I can recognize his writing style is v. good, but I'm unable to stay engaged.

I hate to say this, but Bertrand Russell's short story is boring me. His writing style for nonfiction is more engaging.

I'm surprised to see the first story is by Bertrand Russell. When I think of him, I think of philosophy & all his published non fiction. Apparently when he was 81 he tried his hand at fiction.
