I enjoyed it. This book was a powerful read. I didn't fully grasp how much groundbreaking work she did coming up in journalism as a black woman in a predominantly white and male industry (sports journalism, sports media in general). The personal aspects of her memoir were powerful, including some complex personal relationships and choices she had were moving. It was a good quick read. Of course, as a fellow Detroit native, I read a lot I could relate to from beginning to end.
