Everyone is related to everyone. This plot twist actually got me.
The MC whines, like she does through the entire book- because she inherents a string of brothels from the man who killed her mother who is also her uncle. She is now rich as piss. But also still a shitty person, and thinks people need "saved". (People need opportunities.)

"That kiss made her tingle clear down to her tootsies every time she thought about it, so she tried not to." Wtf?

The comforting thing is there is no possible way I could write something worse than this.

At least the MC actually gets injured.

No. That is not how lassos work. Ugh. Maybe not even physics.

Okay, it got racist... But worse than thank she just mistook his trouser snake for a real snake.

Is this how normal people experience sexuality? As a demisexual I do not understand, and I am icked out.

I've gotten through the prolouge and it's obvious this was written by a woman who hates other women.
