Sometimes it felt like I was reading a book written by a 10 y/o.
Everything was too fast, no depth, no content to anything. There was a lot of context sure, but you have no idea who any of the characters are (literally over 15 different names within the first three chapters).
On the first chapter social services shows up with the kid in tow. They did no due diligence.
Also, what’s up with all the beer drinking?
