Very descriptive story. Things just keep going wrong, evil seems to be winning. How do you combat that when it seems the bad guys hold all of the cards? And one of the bad guys could be the main character because he doesn't know if this world is even real or not. Is it a dream, and he'll wake up and go back to his "normal" life the next time he opens his eyes?
