As a devotee kneeling at the shrine of Bernhard, how have I never heard of this one? Is this a newer publication?

It was actually his first prose work, but the last of his prose to be published. It's been available in English for years now, but I think the nature of the writing is such that it's remained in an obscure corner of his oeuvre.
