The author is really good at pacing the story and keeping suspense. Your interest is at just the right level to make you want to keep reading without wanting to skip forward - you want to experience the full journey of the character without missing anything.

I've been searching for this book for years. I read it in my early teens but couldn't remember the title or author, only the plot. No amount of Google searching found the book - until I remembered the main character was an albino. I've finally found it! I'm 14% in and loving every moment ❤️ I was so happy to discover there's now more books in the series.
