Despite the quote that "happy families are all alike", this book has depicted a happy and caring family but still maintains its fascinating quality. I don't know why I'm quite indulged in this story but maybe I'm personally like Charlie myself and I can just feel him. At some point we all like a wallflower observing people around us.

I was listening to the book and I suddenly realized why I kept listening without feeling wanting to shift to another book. It's because I was like listening to gossips, good gossips I mean, stories of people we care about. I occasionally made the aww and ugh sounds when listening, like when Charlie got Bill's accolade and Craig broke up with Sam. Through Charlie's letters it's like his friends are mine too.

Gave this book to my students before reading. Then I started listening to it. Definitely a book that I would like to read in my high school, but definitely not a book that a teacher should give to their students (at least in my country) *laugh* Anyway I should not be in trouble since they won't read it anyway.
Really enjoy this book. The words are just so plain and honest, yet the emotion is so real. Ohh Brad. sigh
