This is my first Didion read and it’s excellent. Feels like she’s right there with me in her grief, which I haven’t felt in most books about losing someone close. Looking forward to reading her novels.

This is a lovely but painful story of grief. I couldn’t keep going with it (reading about losing her husband were all too real to me in my own tragedy), but others certainly should.
