It’s the writing I don’t like. I’m biased against first-person but even so the book reads like “I went to the store. I bought a fish” rather than telling a story. But I still gotta see it through

Chapter 11. Feeling like I’m missing something because I’m not understanding the love for this book or it’s characters 😞

Chapter 8 and still nothing! I’ve enjoyed nothing so far, but just trying to see the book through 😞
