so far it's literally just been the history of technological advancement. from paper to clocks to radios to TV and then it stops at the internet. pretty interesting but I was expecting the crux of the matter (the title) to come a little earlier

nevertheless, I've reached it and he's begun to talk about studies and cognitive overload and lots of interesting stuff but since it's written in 2011 it feels incomplete
