Since I was serving in the Navy in Japan and Guam from March of 82 until September 92 I missed a few things. The book explains a lot about how off the track the Christian community and Republican party went embracing lies. Best explanation is the pursuit of power and a in the desire to maintain it through lies. As Machiavelli said in The Prince "once you start lying to obtain power you cannot stop lying."
