Heavy, though had the most unexpected opportunity to meet the author when I purchased the book and she told me “when it gets heavy, just know it ends well” with a big smile. Thank goodness for that or I might be too scared to keep reading. It is engaging and has a great pace, I love the style very much so far though the content is less than ideal 😕
