After reading each of these narratives, I am possessed by the urge to plunge again into the original stories. I think I may do that soon, especially because a re-reading of “The Case of Charles Dexter Ward” will more satisfactorily unveil the mystery presented therein.

After reading Culbard's faithful re-telling of "The Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath", I have warmed up to his stylings both artistic and literary. I feel that I shall enjoy the rest of these adaptations.

The heavy use of dialogue, specifically the sort of plain language employed in this adaptation, as well as the art style, specifically as it pertains to the setting majorly detracts from the story. I hope the adaptation is not so faithful as to be a marked downgrade but I fear that any changes made may be as plain as what I have read thus-far or may tie into a boring version of the mythos.
