This is so stupid. I honestly don't understand why they see Rani as a traitor. And Parion blames Rani for Morada but like she was involved in the Brotherhood of her own free will and it caused her to be killed because she was stupid about it. No need to blame Rani for that.

I'm so confused?? What purpose does Berylina have as being locked up and labeled a witch? Her storyline is actually super confusing.

maybe cause I'm an atheist but man Berylina's chapters make me want to die. Like she is super devoted to her faith and shit but idk how it affects Rani and her storyline at all? Unless she is going to be the Royal Pilgrim of The Fellowship. But that would be stupid. Why spend all this time developing Hal and Rani only to throw in Berylina and have her be a major player in this game??

It is so awkward reading Berylina's account of Ranita and Tovin having sex.

I feel like this is setting up the next two novels, but I also feel like I don't care.
