What on earth is happening here... I thought this was a YA???? Also why build up the romance so much... for this. Idk maybe it's not cheating but you know it's a YA so Orion's likely gonna be alive. From a reader's perspective it just takes away from their relationship.

Probably she was making a massive effort to be tactful because Orion had just died and maybe I wanted to waste some of my time being sad instead of following her own highly superior therapy program of meticulously planning out a campaign for victory."
