I kept getting the weird sense, after havin read romantic series for years that I'd missed out on a first book somehow. Like We were being told some important things in passing like you usually do when summing up the first book.I figured no way cuz this is a Dreamspinner book and the first would have been M/F. I was right. Which is really weird. Almost jarring.
