Loved the first story. I saw the ending coming, but that was just because I have read stories like this one before.
I LOVE the incorporation of other stories in the book. Did she use only the ones from the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books? At least, that’s how I know all of them. Even if not, I still love how she uses them to explain feelings or events in her story.
I’m excited to read more!

Back again 😂 (with minor spoilers this time!): The Husband Stitch is a great title for this story, and not only because it is referenced directly in the story. It also represents the control the husband has, the constant need of the husband for pleasure, and the helplessness she feels when her husband leads her forcefully through stages and steps in their life and relationship. It’s discomforting that such a selfish and terrible practice like the Husband Stitch exists, but it fits perfectly into this story.
