Have to confess, though, in all honesty, I'm having such a hard time empathizing with Big Red. Given up EVERYTHING to Igraine⁉️ For Igraine⁉️ Seriously ⁉️🤔 Zero empathy ❌ This dragon is totally NOT an alpha 👻 However, there's TON of story to be unveiled ~ Just have to keep reading ~ He could still Blow me Away 💓💘 Have Faith ~ Be Open Minded ~ etc.

I agree with Starr.Red is….different.

& whined when she couldn't care for him ~
She birthed him two sons ‼️ All she ever wanted ⁉️
Her dream man~ who would be safe ~ because he would've
never belonged to her~ She never wanted to be used by Red ~
The way she loved Wolfe ~ made me think that she would've
grieved for Arthur ~ unless her memory of her first born son
was wiped out⁉️

It's OK if you don't love Red, V. It's why I really like AJ's books, bc every hero is different, some more flawed than others. I think both Red and Igraine weren't victims. They both believed whether consciously or unconsciously that they had their dream person when they didn't. Pretty sure somewhere in Igraine's mind she knew Red wasn't Gorlois. I mean, his manners are totally diff. What interests him, etc. After being with a man for so long, you would think she knows.
Red we all know, thought he could get her to love him for HIM, not just the outer shell of Gorlois. And it turns out they both loved illusions. In the meantime Guiny took advantage and so did Uther.
People stay in the wrong relationships all the time because they buy into illusions. You might think they're weak bc of it, but sometimes love is blind. And for Red, I hurt for him bc he's a pure dragon. Intimacy for these males mean so much more than for normal men. Unfortunately, he fell for the wrong woman.
