same tbh but with anthologies

Similar problems with anthologies x_x quality and/or appeal vary too greatly, liking half of the collection is a great mark of success...
I'm rarely able to read them in one sitting, but never really feel like picking them back up because of no long term investment in the story I'm reading :')
Comic anthologies at least are faster to read but prose ... Just not for me.

yuppp. I do enjoy comic anthologies, but I just can't do prose for exactly the reasons you mentioned. I think when I'm home I'll tryyyy to finish "New Suns" and then never pick up another anthology again. Short story collections are a little better for me because they are at least all by the same author so there's a higher chance that I like them all a similar amount, and there's a little more cohesion to them.

I shall be purging all anthologies and short story collections from my to reads very soon... (I like short stories? Just... not collections, apparently)
