This is why I love Thorland's books so much, I think. The secondary and tertiary characters are SO well drawn.

For real the last line of the previous chapter kicked me in the gut when I read this book the first time. I am pretty sure I gasped aloud. And even the second time, when I was READY FOR IT, I am still, GUH.
