This book has the pace and similar illustrations to ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’ - especially the parts in the American desert- although the drugs don’t sound as lethal or hallucinogenic.

Anecdotal

Examples of egos and entitlement in music from members of The Clash and John Peel with sarcastic comments on air after they could get their session finished. Mick Jones comes across like a man child - couldn’t (be bothered to) score drugs for himself, let alone go to the shop for a pint of milk.

Anarchy and ego

Loving the way this written straight away! Ray Lowry’s illustrations are so full of characters.
