And FINALLY Claire tells Jaimie that Laoghaire tried to kill her. His response:

He lifted his hand and let my hair fall slowly from his fingers, brushing my face, skimming my lips, floating soft and heavy on my neck and shoulders, lying like feathers at the tops of my breasts. “Mo nighean donn,” he whispered, “mo chridhe. My brown lass, my heart.” “Come to me. Cover me. Shelter me, a bhean, heal me . Burn with me, as I burn for you.”
Sigh . . . Diana Gabaldon is a genius with words.

At this point I just have to say how much I love the way Diana writes. She is not just an author she is an artist. Some scenes, especially the ones between Jamie & Claire, just make me want to cry sometimes. I hope some of these words make it to the screen because it would be a shame if they didn't.
